Inner seasons
The season badge on the cycle card, and the full-screen guide behind it.
When Visual seasons is on in Settings, the Calendar status card uses a seasonal scene — winter, spring, summer, or autumn — and a small badge with the season name.
This is a product metaphor (“inner seasons”). It is not a weather forecast and not a lab result.
Opening the guide
Tap the season badge. The card expands until it fills the window:
- The seasonal artwork stays at the top as a header (cycle day, phase name, short line).
- The badge becomes a close (X) control. Tap it again, or press Escape, to collapse.
- Below the header there is an educational guide: what the season means, what it is often good for, what often helps, and what to ease up on.
If Visual seasons is off, the card uses the plain primary style. There is no badge, so there is no guide.
How seasons map to phases
| Inner season | Cycle phase |
|---|---|
| Winter | Menstrual |
| Spring | Follicular |
| Summer | Ovulation (estimated window) |
| Autumn / Fall | Luteal |
If the phase is labelled estimated, the season is estimated too. See Calendar phases and “estimated”.
What the lists are for
The expanded panel is wellbeing copy: rest in winter, rising energy in spring, connection in summer, winding down in autumn. “Do” and “don’t” are optional suggestions, not rules.
They always include the product limits:
- Ciclo does not confirm ovulation.
- Inner seasons are not contraception and not a fertility test.
- Severe pain, very heavy bleeding, or symptoms that stop daily life deserve clinical care.
